Arsenal must sell 45k-p/w star, his “incredible form”

It is fair to say that Mikel Arteta’s journey has been a bit bumpy since he started working in Arsenal in December 2019.

However, in the last three years, there have been three Premier League Championship matches and the second Champions League quarterfinals that can be expected in many seasons, and Espanyol has played more than he was wrong.

A good example is the club’s transfer under his tenure as Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Magalhaes and David Raya greatly improved the starting lineup.

The Belgian midfielder joined La Liga Giants Sevilla’s seasonal loan and purchased a £10m option in the summer, despite hamstring damage, has made 18 appearances so far, with 13 of them already starting.

The 25-year-old is so impressive that Atlético Madrid is now interested in signing a permanent deal with him in the summer and can fight Sevilla to seek his signature.

However, the Verviers-born star isn’t the only midfielder to sell at the end of the season.

While some other players are still on loan this season, such as Reiss Nelson, Karl Hein and Marquinhos, none of them have shown enough to improve their valuation.

Fabio Vieira, on the other hand, has already begun to do so.

The Portuguese midfielder surprises Arsenal in the summer of 2022 and while he is very excited about the aspects he may be able to bring to Arteta, it is fair to describe his time in the capital as a failure.

But while some may be tempted to bring him back to Emirates in the summer and shoot again next season, for Arteta and Co, try to do as much money as possible while he plays well.

After all, he has hardly done in two years to show that he has what he needs in British football and that he is still as slight as ever, one of the biggest problems before.

Ultimately, despite Vieira being a talented footballer, Arsenal will cash in with a rejuvenation this summer and reinvest the money into something more certain.
