Our top 100 teacher franchise is the backbone of that reason. With their help, we are always looking for ways to help you improve.

This year, we are updating the list of top 100 teachers in the United States. The group is our teaching vertically to heartbeats, helping us rely on the smartest minds of the game to create content on golf printing, digital, social and video platforms. The list remains a golf standard for teaching talent, expertise and innovation.

As part of the update process, we are publishing public applications available to every coach in the United States, each submission will be evaluated by a committee of currently 100 teachers and Hall of Famers, with the aim of identifying the best golf coaches in the country.

The committee will consult a wide variety of experts in the process to ensure we are not spared. The end result is the best teachers in the United States that we think can help you do your best.

Minimum standard

To take into account the identity of the top teacher 100, teachers must at least have 12 years Full-time teaching experience and spend at least 750 hours per year actively teaching golf (through various courses, groups, clinics, schools, classes, lectures, seminars, etc.). In addition, the instructor must spend at least 750 hours in other courses and teaching-related activities. Examples of the latter include organizing courses, communicating with students, writing articles, shooting videos, learning, reading, and/or researching any field related to teaching golf. Minimum annual total = 1,500 hours.

Selection process

Applications were screened based on 15 baseline criteria recommended by the Top 100 Teacher Certificate Committee.

The app is then checked and ranked by a group of 15 active and top 100 teachers. The final proposal is proposed by a separate election committee, Golf MagazineThe coaching editor, established the top 100 faculty and alumni, and invited members of the World Golf Teachers Hall of Fame. (The recommendation is based on an in-depth review of fifteen baseline criteria, focusing on the following: knowledge, communication skills, innovative teaching ideas, flexibility in teaching, reliable learning types, successful success, sharing knowledge with peers, sharing knowledge with peers, with well-known golfers, industry rewards and nominations, recommendations, recommendations and committees.
