Arsenal will soon announce their first summer recruits.
Goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, along with midfielders Martín Zubimendi and Christian Nørgaard, are reportedly preparing to join Arsenal around next week, with the former providing backups for David Raya and the latter replacing the upcoming Thomas Party and Jorginho at the Midfield base.
Still, there is still a lot of work to be done with Mikel Arteta, Andrea Berta and the Arsenal hierarchy.
Arsenal targeted attack reinforcement
After finishing second in the Premier League for the third straight time, it is clear that there is a need to add Arsenal this summer, which is a more offensive firepower, as shown in the table below.

As the table shows, all available metrics significantly reduced the Gunners’ offensive output last season compared to the two titles under Arteta.
That’s why the summer debate is still the reason Benjamin šeško or Viktor Gyökeres, the club is clearly in the market with a new ninth place, but they are also looking for reinforcements in the range.
Therefore, according to Spanish reports, Arsenal is “very interested” in signing Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi, who is said to have “worked” to get his signature.
They added that the German international is believed to be able to receive about €45 million (£38 million) and is seen as a “serious alternative” to Barcelona-killed Nico Williams, who will add “explosion” to Arsenal’s frontline.
The 23-year-old started his high school career in RB Salzburg, earning £38 million by playing four Champions League goals for Die Roten Bullen, moving to Dortmund three summers ago.
So far, Schwarzgelben has been on 105 appearances,,,,, Adeyemi scored 26 goals in all three club World Cup fixtures this summer and scored 17 assists, against Fluminense on East Rutherford and Ulsan HD in Ohio.
Now, can he be the 13th German at Arsenal, joining current Die Mannschaft teammate Kai Havertz while following in the footsteps of Mesut Özil, Bernd Leno, Per Mertesacker, Lukas Podolski, etc.?
How Karim Adeyemi will improve Arsenal
Arsenal is seeking to improve the left-wing options, and most agree to upgrade Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard, or at least an alternative to both, to take the Gunners to the next level.
Still, Andrew Mangan and James McNicholas agreed when talking about Ansecast that the Gunners will sign two wingers this summer so they can play on the left, but the guy who plays Bukayo Saka on the right is ideal.
Well, all season Dortmund managers, Nuri chahin and Niko Kovač have deployed both sides on the side.
So let’s evaluate how he compares to the gold standard of Arsenal Plaza matches, the aforementioned Saka – who thinks he is considered similar to the players who are in the top five leagues in Europe, just like FBREF.

As the table outlines, Saka does rank among the vast majority of indicators, but that’s not a disdain for Adeyemi, given that the England international is one of the best players in the world, at least according to teammate Martinelli.
The German statistics were roughly equivalent to Saka’s statistics, scored higher, and successfully completed a higher proportion of breakups.
Jacek Kulig of Football Talent Scout described him as having “electric pace” and “excellent dribbling skills” just to label him as “world-class talent.”
Meanwhile, Lee Scott of a comprehensive football analysis believes he offers the ability to “direct goal threat” and “carry the ball at speed beyond the defender”, while Tunde Young boldly asserts that he can continue to be multiple Ballon d’or winners, like Lionel Messi.
So it’s clear that Adeyemi offers a lot of boxes for Arsenal and would be an excellent, exciting addition if they can make this deal. He is likely to prove like Saka on the left.
