Assuming you are already fitting your current game driver, let’s open the steps you can take to further adjust the boom. (What are you waiting for if you are not yet suitable? You are leaving a shot on the table.)
The easiest way to adjust the gamer driver is to adjust the club face to your specific needs. Modern drivers offer many opportunities to dial the ideal launch characteristics and shooting shape. Again, these engineering miracles can actually make you look a lot better than before.
What is the maximum leverage to adjust first?
Adjusting the driver’s loft will have the greatest impact on launch and rotation. Many drivers today can adjust up to +/- 2°. Depending on how you pass the driver through impact, adjustability can move the rotation of the rotation up to 1,000 rpm and move the launch window several degrees.
This is a huge change in the descent range of your ball flying. But modern drivers also have removable weight. The changing weight can move the center of gravity and start changing the range of the ball falling off the face and looking down.

Where should you place your removable weight?
When you test where to place this discretionary weight, there are at least three things to consider.
1. Where you hit it in the face: If you missed your toes or heels, some players will react to put the Mass directly behind the strike position. Others can see better results by placing the weight on the other side of the missed position. For example, if you missed your toes, place the weight on your heel.
2. Move heavier weight from front to back or backward: Although moving weight is a small lever than adjusting the loft, this may have a similar effect as adjusting the loft. Weight adjustment is a secondary adjustment for loft adjustment when dialing in launch and rotation.
3. You missed its location range: Players who hit the push or slice may find that adding weight to the heel will help them restore their face to a square by impact. On the other end of the spectrum, moving the weight toward the other end of the toe can help hit the player who is pulling or quickly released by impact.
Is the driver’s lie angle important?
Yes! The driver’s lie angle can change the starting direction of the serve shot. Too upright, you might hit it from the heel, or be associated with the target by impact. not good.
Meanwhile, the lie angle is too flat and can lead to pushing or toe strikes. You guessed that these are not ideal results either. Work with fitters or golf professionals and with the help of a launcher, you can make appropriate adjustments to provide the face in the optimal environment.

Another tip for fitting trade…
When you adjust the loft, each loft you add or subtract will also change the face angle by up to 2°. This means you can take a higher or lower head elevation and use an adjustable loft sleeve to help with specific misses or “build” shot shape bias.
Since most of us have problems with side errors (aka slices), your fitter may lower the overhead and adjust it to the “higher” setting. On the fixed sleeves, like the Taylormade FCT, adjustments will close the face 4° and make the driver’s recliner more upright. Move the movable weight of the heel and you will have a bulletproof machine that will re-recognize you in the center of the fairway.
