Arsenal is considering ambitious moves against Paris Saint-Germain star Ousmane Dembele

The Gunners will allow Andrea Berta to lead their recruitment drivers, thanks to the Italians’ appointment as new sports director at the end of March. Berta has been in conversation with Boss Mikel Arteta after replacing Edu in executive roles with the goal of prioritizing.

Gabriel Jesus suffered ACL damage to Manchester United early this year, while Kai Havertz was ruled out for the rest of the season due to a hamstring injury. Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli also spent some time off the field, forcing Arteta to use Mikel Merino as a fake No. 9 in recent weeks and months.

Now, plans are being made to gain further firepower to strengthen their hopes of winning the Premier League title next season. Arsenal is reportedly one of Ousmane Dembele’s biggest admirers, but faces competition from Premier League rivals Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea to get the signature of the PSG striker.

Arsenal wants Ousmane Dembele

Dembele, 27, enjoys an outstanding season in PSG colors. The Frenchman scored 32 goals in 42 games in all games this season. He played a key role in helping Les Parisians beat Aston Villa 5-4 in the Champions League quarterfinals earlier this week, with Luis Enrique’s side booking a coveted semi-final showdown with Arsenal.

This will give Arteta and Arsenal a chance to take a closer look at Dembele, although fans certainly hope that both games will be able to appear in both games. Positive performance can convince Berta to push the 27-year-old, who has three years left in the Parc des Princes contract. Most importantly, the PSG hierarchy hopes to reward French International’s outstanding performance with new, improved contracts.

So one would imagine that it would be very difficult for the North Londoners to lure Dembele out of Paris at the end of the season. The former Barcelona’s ability to play in concentration and scope would be a wonderful addition to the Arsenal offensive team, improving their quality and providing a different dimension to their game. He will also be an upgrade for the inconsistent Martinelli, while pushing Saka to new heights at the Amirates Stadium.

That being said, the Gunner will need to pull the rabbit out of habit to get Dembeller’s signature.
