Arsenal plans to sign £105 million alternative

If Arsenal needs more motivation to overcome the finish line next season, Tottenham Hotspur just provided it for them.

With nearly second place in the Premier League now, the board and new sporting director Andrea Berta can turn its attention to the summer transfer window and look for a new striker.

In the past few months, two of the strikers with Emirates are Viktor Gyokeres of Sports CP and Alexander Isak of Newcastle United, despite the lack of experience in the first five leagues, which could cost more than £150m, and other options have surfaced.

In fact, if recent reports can be believed, Mikel Arteta and Co are now interested in the ideal Gyokeres alternative, and he won the comparison with Toon Star.

Before connecting with the players involved, it is worth exploring some of the other strikers who have been in contact with Arsenal in recent weeks, such as Benjamin Sesko and Liam Delap.

Giant money deals, controversial moves and big-name slippers. This is the hometown of football fans’ transfer news and opinions.

The former enjoyed another impressive season at RB Leipzig, scoring 21 goals and providing six assists in 45 games, although this rate of return reportedly increased his release clause to about £75m.

Delap’s release clause, on the other hand, is worth only £30m in his current contract, although he will represent more of a gamble despite having 12 goals and 2 assists in 36 Premier League games this season.

Also, if Arteta and Co do want someone to be a real alternative to the Ginos, they have to be good shooters like Julián Alvarez.

According to the latest report by news reporter Matías Palacios through the Spanish football program El Chiringuito, Arsenal is one of several teams that are very interested in Atletico Madrid.

In fact, the reporter claimed that the Gunners, Bayern Munich and Liverpool all “want” the Argentine this summer and that “a meeting with interested clubs will begin next week”.

The potential price of the striker is not mentioned, but since he spent only £82 million last summer, he was valued at nine figures, especially when the CIES Football Observatory price is €125 million, we won’t be surprised, we won’t be surprised.

That being said, Arsenal should do everything he can to sign Alvarez, because not only can he be an ideal choice for gyokeres, but he also won the comparison with Isak.

How to compare isak

So before we look at other reasons why Arsenal should sign Alvarez this summer, we should look at the comparison with ISAK and where it comes from.

Well, in this case, it originated from FBREF, which compared players in similar positions in the top five European leagues, Champions League and Europa League and concluded that the Swedes were the tenth most similar to the Argentinian in the last 365 days.

We can better understand their similarities by looking at some basic metrics, including but not limited to expected auxiliary targets, progress, target shooting and every target shot, key passes, creating shooting movements, and more, all every 90 points.

In addition to obvious statistical similarities, the former Manchester City star also scored a similar goal with Newcastle ACE this season.

For example, in 53 appearances, the “world-class” forward was called by the city content creator LB, scoring 29 goals and providing 6 assists.

By comparison, the former Real Sociedad star scored 27 goals and provided six assists in 41 games this semester.

Finally, besides the goals and similarities with one of the world’s best scorers, the Gunners should seriously consider signing Alfraz, as he is a well-known winner who won the treble with Manchester City in the 22/23 season.

So, no matter how much money it costs, Arsenal should hope to bring the World Cup championship to the N5 this summer, even if that means not signing the Gyokerers.
