Arsenal stepped up its pursuit of £84m “Powerhouse”

The transfer window has only been open for nine days, but Arsenal has been involved in a legend.

The Gunners have been in close contact with Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig since last summer and things are begging for a move when he is currently staying in Germany.

Reports later last week showed that the Slovenian striker wanted to move to Emirates, but is he really the answer to Mikel Arteta?

Although it remains to be seen, the club is still looking for alternatives, and now the report links it to someone who might be a Sesko upgrade.

Before entering the relevant stars, it is worth looking at some of the other forwards who have been in contact with Arsenal in recent weeks, such as Jonathan David and Julian Alvarez.

As his contract with Losc Lille is coming to an end this month, the former will be a free signing, and it’s a great signing, like 49 appearances this season, he scored 25 goals and provided 12 assists.

Alvarez is equally effective this semester, scoring 29 goals and seven assists in 54 appearances, but he is reportedly worth £126 million and it seems he is unlikely to be moving this summer.

Fortunately, another striker is now in the picture: Samuel Omorodion Aghehowa.

According to the latest report from Offside, Arsenal is one of several teams currently interested in Porto stars.

The report claims that along with the Gunners, Chelsea, Manchester United, Aston Villa and others, the 21-year-old shooter will “fight” for the 21-year-old.

But, besides dealing with the game, the North Londoners need to create a lot of cash, as the report shows that Porto wants at least €75 million – £63 million – for their star striker, they sell it effortlessly as he owns €100 million – £84 million – released in his current deal.

Crossing this line can be a complex and expensive transfer, but given Samu’s ability and potential, it’s worth fighting for, especially since he might be an upgrade for Sesko.

Comparison between SAMU and Sesko

So if Arsenal reports interest in Samu continues to grow and things reach the point where he and Cesco have to choose, who would be a better signing?

Well, if we were to compare forwards, the first call port is their original output, because ultimately, that matters most to the players in their position.

Interestingly, it was the young Spaniard who ranked first here because in 42 games, a total of 3175 minutes, the “inevitably” 6-foot-4 4 shooters, called net net basketball by analyst Ben Mattinson 25 times and provided 3 assists, an average of every 1.5 games per 1.5 games, or 113.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.39.

By comparison, the Leipzig star scored 21 goals and provided 6 assists in 45 games, totaling 3258 minutes, with an average of 1.66 games per 1.66 games or goals per 120.66 minutes.

OK, so what about their basic numbers? Who stands out when we look under the hood?

Well, this is worse news for the Slovenian star, as he does better in certain areas, such as creating action and progressive passes for shooting, but he ranks second in most relevant metrics.

For example, Melilla-born “Powerhouse” (Mattinson) is called Mattinson, which excels in expected and actual non-racing goals as well as on targets, goal action and more all assists, assists, shooting range and all within every 90 range.

Samu-Morodion-Chelsea

Ultimately, while both players seem to be very promising forwards, Samu does better when we look at their original production and base numbers, so Arsenal may do whatever it can to bring him to Emirates this summer as he seems to be an upgrade for Sesko.
