Mikel Arteta said Arsenal used international breakthroughs to “reflect and reset” before the run-in.
The Gunners have dual goals in the final weeks of the season. They face Real Madrid in the quarterfinals of the Champions League, which is the first match next week, and they still have a chance to chase Liverpool in the Premier League title game.
Arsenal trailed the Mercedes by 12 points in just 9 games, and there was no room for mistakes to play against Fulham tomorrow night.

Arteta said: “We had a great time to reflect and reset and put ourselves in a good position to enter the most exciting part of the Premier League season.
“There is a possibility to win tomorrow. The preparations are better than Fulham. If we do, we will start building the motivation that will help us in two games.”
Arsenal is already behind Liverpool after only one win in four league matches, while Arteta is expected to have another tough test against Fulham side, who are still scrambling to get caught in European qualifiers.
He added: “They are always a tough opposition. Their coaches are good and have been together for many years. Their organizational and personal qualities are high.
“They have a very clear identity and idea of how to play the game. So we have to be very good to beat them.
“We have a lot of dominance in our last game against them [1-1 draw in December]but they are very clinical. They managed to score goals and sat down to reduce space. ”
Fulham beat Crystal Palace 3-0 in the FA Cup quarterfinals on Saturday.
Marco Silva’s men are disappointing, but the Amirates win will move them to sixth place on the table, behind Chelsea in fourth place.
Arsenal v. Fulham’s team news
Arsenal’s big news is that England winger Bukayo Saka “ready to go” and will be included in the squad.
Saka has not competed since suffering a severe hamstring injury in December’s victory at Crystal Palace, but after a long recovery, Crystal Palace is fit again.
“Bukayo Saka is ready to go,” Arteta said.
“All the prudent things have been done. Now, it’s about putting him on the grass at the right time. But he’s pushing because he really wants to.
“We have respected the schedule, we have done everything. He is ready.”
He will likely start on the bench where Ethan Nwaneri continues to go to the right.
The negative for Arsenal is that Riccardo calafiori suffered a knee injury on its international duties in Italy, no.
Fulham’s health bill is clear and will be selected from the same team at the Palace, although Silva’s weekend performance may change.
