Berta and Co-operatives have long been reportedly eager to return to Bournemouth in Neto, with Arsenal recently missing a deal with long-term target Joan Garcia, who will join Barcelona.
Given how long it will take for Arsenal to officially sign Martin Zubimandi, and Fabrizio Romano recently assured supporters that the Spaniard did agree to everything, Arrizabalaga may eventually be the club’s first summer announcement.
Looking further forward, Arsenal also wants to sign a new winger, but he resigned from a defeat at Bayern Munich star Leroy Sane after he reached a deal with Galatasaray.
The Gunners now need to turn to alternative broad targets, perhaps Real Madrid’s Rodrygo, and also have questions about negotiations with their top forward target – RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko.
Arsenal holds talks to London sign Benjamin Sesco
According to Chaughtoffside, Arsenal has held talks in London in the past few days to sign Sesko and have discussed in the British capital.
This is after a deal with the 6-foot-5 center, who scored 21 goals in all games last season, but both Leipzig and Arsenal remained questionable on the final price of Cesco.
The Bundesliga side has a stake of about £67 million, which is the value of his release clause, while Arteta is trying to negotiate lower fees.
Arteta has clearly made it clear behind the scenes that Sesko must be their priority striker signing, and is confident in all parties to finally reach an agreement.
Saudi Arabia also recently expressed interest in the 22-year-old, but his focus is on staying in Europe and competing at the highest level.
