
The conflict between Barcelona’s La Liga and Osasuna was postponed after the death of first-team doctor Carles Minarro Garcia.
The match is scheduled to start at 8pm (UK time) by Estadi Olimpic Lluis, but the club revealed that Garcia had passed shortly before the kickoff and confirmed that the game will not continue.
According to the initial Spanish report, Minarro Garcia, 40, died before the game. He has been working in the club since 2017.

“Barcelona is deeply saddened to announce the death of first team Carles Miñarro García tonight,” the club said in a statement.
“The match against Osasuna has therefore been postponed and will be rescheduled later.
“In this difficult time, the Barcelona Board of Directors and all employees expressed their heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.”
Osasuna, an opponent of the Catalonian club, also posted a message on social media: “Osasuna wants to express her deepest condolences to the family of Dr. Carles Miñarro Garcia and hopes to send a warm hug to all the staff of Football Club Barcelona in this difficult time. May he rest in peace.”
