Barcelona v. International Competition Preview
Barcelona and Inter Milan will reach the Champions League semi-finals for the first time in 15 years.
Inter was the winner back in 2010 and won the championship under Jose Mourinho. This time, Barcelona’s goal is to redeem and shoot silverware at Arsenal or Paris Saint-Germain in the final.
Under Hansi Flick’s guidance, Barcelona enjoyed the best European campaign in nearly a decade. It’s been ten years since they last reached the Champions League final, and they canceled their fifth title in 2015.
After being second only to Liverpool in the new league stage, Catalonia club rejected Benfica in 16 rounds. In the quarterfinals, they lost 3-1 to Dortmund 4-0 in Germany, which did not stop them from reaching the semi-finals.
Blaugrana also built a four-point mat on La Liga, winning 23 of her last 28 games and suffering only one defeat – against Dortmund.
However, Inter’s unbeaten performance in the Champions League 15 games poses a serious challenge. In addition, the Spanish team did not beat the middle in the last two meetings.

Simone Inzaghi’s team has lost only twice in the last 20 Champions League outings.
Although Inter Milan is more prolific than Barcelona, ββit relies on their defensive stability. They scored 19 goals and admitted only five, keeping eight clean sheets in the process.
However, their recent domestic form is incredible.
After losing to Bologna at the last minute, AC Milan eliminated 13 games from Italy’s Coppa before defeating Roma 1-0.
These back-to-back league defeats have left them falling to second place in Serie A, behind Naples with four games left.
