£40m PL Star logo and Meslier axe

Leeds United are currently sitting at the top of the championship table during their last international break in the 2024/25 campaign as they are closer to promotion to the Premier League.

The white guy missed it through the playoffs last season, losing 1-0 to Southampton in the final and hoping to automatically rise without having to rely on the playoffs.

Winning the Premier League promotion is only the first step, though, as Daniel Farke will have to build a squad that will avoid instant relegation – something he hasn’t managed in two attempts at Norwich City.

GK -Caoimhin Kelleher

Illan Meslier has been No. 1 for Leeds in recent seasons, but he hasn’t done enough to show that the club should rely on him as No. 1 for next season.

The Frenchman, who was based on XG after XG, exceeded 34.4 goals than expected in his league career at Elland Road, suggests that he has performed very well.

Caoimhin Kelleher, who is in contact with Leeds next season, has admitted to Liverpool’s second place in the Premier League career, which shows that he can enhance the team’s hopes of survival as a higher shot.

Jayden Bogle, who joined from Sheffield United last summer, has already started all 36 games in the Leeds Championship this season and may remain the top right-back option for next semester.

CB -Nico Elvedi

Leeds reportedly was interested in a deal that signed Farke’s former currency commemorative star Nico Elvedi in the January transfer window, but failed to cross the line as the Swiss star wanted to play top football.

The white guy could convince him to move to Elland Road in the summer of the promotion to the Premier League, where he could compete with Joe Rodon to start the berth.

As you can see in the table above, Elvedi’s excellent performance in the bigger league Rodon is a knockout defender, which shows that he can provide a solid presence at the heart of the Baker line.

CB -Pascal Sruijk

Dutch defender Pascal Sruijk can keep his position on the left side of the defense, both because of his leadership – many times – and he naturally has his left foot and can play comfortably from there.

LB-Hugo Bueno

TeamTalk recently reported that Junior Firpo is increasingly likely to leave when his contract expires in the summer, which will leave a hole in the left back.

Earlier this month, Leeds reportedly focused on Feyenoord defender Hugo Bueno, who was loaned from Wolves, which could be a replacement for Firpo.

Bueno created four “big opportunities” in the 12 Eredivisie start for Feyenoord this semester, and received three assists during the period and could provide Leeds with a left-wing attack threat in top flight.

CM-Tanaka AO

Ao Tanaka is a revelation for Leeds in the middle of the park in the championship game, with an average of 3.6 tackles and interceptions per game and a 90% pass accuracy and a chance to show off his quality in the Premier League.

CM -Ethan Ampadu

Ethan Ampadu started all 49 games last semester, including the playoffs in the league, and was the club captain, while Farke could be in the cabin with Tanaka’s machine room in the 2025/26 campaign, whether in top-tier matches or championships.

RW – Jonathan Rowe

The Telegraph reported that last summer, Leeds wanted to bid for £7 million for Norwich City striker Jonathan Rowe, but he eventually joined Marseille, obliged to permanently make it £17 million this summer.

However, recently reported that he had fallen into the French pecking order, and Marseille hopes to step him off immediately in the summer, which will open the door for Leeds to try to sign him again.

In the last semester championship game, Rowe scored 12 goals in a 5.36 xg game, while Dan James scored ten goals in the 9.22 XG this season, and if Farke could get his best from it, he could be the ruthless terminator for the Whites.

CAM -Wilfried Gnonto

Brenden Aaronson has been the top pick for Leeds this season, but his performance on the top shows that he will struggle in the Premier League.

As you can see in the table above, he failed to influence any of the top six teams in ten appearances, and Willried Gnonto previously showed quality on top flights.

The tenth Italian Gem against QPR last weekend scored two goals and four assists in the 2022/23 Premier League campaign.

LW-Manor Solomon

Manor Solomon is currently on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, and Leeds reportedly is interested in signing a trade for the winger, who scored seven goals permanently this semester and provided seven assists in the league.

CF -Rasmus Hojlund

Ultimately, last month, Leeds reportedly watched Rasmus Hojlund’s situation at Manchester United in hopes of possible action in the summer window.

U23 Antonio Mango claims the Danish striker with a “electric” pace is estimated by the Red Devils at £40m and he could be a big money to send the team to safety.

Hoylund has only scored three goals in the Premier League this season, but the 22-year-old scored ten in the last semester and has scored 24 goals for Manchester United in all competitions since the start of last season.

Joel Piroe, three years older than Denmark’s ace, never scored in one of the top five leagues in Europe, nor did he prove himself in the Premier League.

This means Hojlund can be a validated performer at this level and is a good competition for the Dutch to strengthen the manager’s firepower into the Premier League season.
