Overtime defeated Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Chris Finch made headlines after 131-128 at Timberwolves, Minnesota, when he tore up the host and threw a jab at Shai Gilgeous-alexander news.

Throughout the election showdown with the Timberwolves, the superstar’s defender made 17 trips in the game, hitting him with 14 foul shots. According to Finch, on the other hand, it is very difficult to face the physical condition of the OKC without a suitable person.

Finch’s comments sparked a reaction from the league. Former player Lou Williams joined the discussion, talking about Gilgeous-Alexander’s free throw skills.

Even before Gilgeous-Alexander’s rapid rise next to the Thunder, he initially embraced a modest starting point as a member of the Los Angeles Clippers.

Gilgeous-Alexander was selected as No. 11 in the 2018 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Hornets, and his rookie season was the Clippers’ rookie season before being traded a year later to Oklahoma City as a team Headlines about the major acquisition of Paul George.

In the latest Run, the former NBA veteran gave up on interesting revelations about the 25-year-old’s polarized free throw strategy after Finch’s statement.

“Shai [Gilgeous-Alexander] Being with me early, we did teach him how to foul, he was a master. Williams revealed.

“You should be frustrated by that. But he uses his ability to score, go to the edge, get to the middle distance, and let the man sleep. It’s like this is the game in the game.”

Gilgeous-Alexander leads OKC into the West’s leading 46 wins, and Gilgeous-Alexander is still Favorites to win this season’s MVP award.

Although Giannis Antetokounmpo hits 2024-25 with a 10.4 free throw percentage, Gilgeous-Alexander is actually the biggest beneficiary on the line. The Thunder star led the NBA in free throws (447) and tried (501).

Fans criticized Gilgeous-Alexander and marked him as a foul businessman. However, for Williams, it’s just part of the game worth exploiting.

Williams, especially targeting his former Clippers mentor, is convinced that Finch will not complain about whether his team has Gilgeous-Alexander.

“If he treated Shai as his person, he wouldn’t have complained like that,” Williams said of Finch. “He wouldn’t have complained.

“This is the game inside the game. If you can easily get six to 10 points per game on the free throw line and you know what to do, you’ll definitely use it as your advantage.”
