Montreal Canadiens fans have to think if only Habs plays the Florida Panthers in every game. The season’s match against the Stanley Cup champion is now 3-0 after a 4-2 victory on Sunday (and four straight games against them)

Nick Suzuki and Lane Hutson both lead the Canadians. Everyone scored three points, Suuzki scored and won the game, breaking a 2-2 draw just two minutes after the third stage on Hutson’s pass.

In the play, Suzuki first finds Juraj Slafkovsky in the slot machine, but Slovakia cannot find the handle. The hockey kept heading to the board, where Hutson recovered and quickly found Suzuki on the side of the network to beat Panthers starter Sergei Bobrovsky, who made 19 saves with 21 shots in the game.

Slafkovsky, who celebrated his 21st birthday, also received an assist in the game, but more notably, he scored 2-1 in the second game, deflecting the puck to defensive player Seth Jones, who was a defensive player outside of poker, in the power play. Five minutes later, Jones cashed in on himself when he shot through Aleksander Barkov’s pass from the angle of defeating goal Sam Montembeault. Montembeault made 24 saves in 26 photos.

Barkov also won the assist when Sam Reinhart tied 1-1 in Game 1. The Panthers captain resumed the hockey, who committed the unfortunate puck behind the net and quickly found Reinhart. Canadian forward Patrik Laine opened the score in just one minute and from his usual position in the power play in the faceoff circle, Hutson and Suzuki got assists (similar to Slafkovsky’s goal). Brendan Gallagher ended the score with an empty net goal late in the third phase.

The victory brought a positive and kind ending to the Canadians’ four road trips, which included a blowout against St. Louis Bruce and another two additional regulatory losses to the Philadelphia Flyers and Carolina Hurricanes, who met head coach Martin St. Louis on the ice in more traditional rosters Sunday, sitting with 12 forwards and six defenders in Alber Xhekaj, while Michael Pezzetta drew in (although at a game low of 5:43 in ice time).

Today’s 34-20-9 Canadians have crossed the idle New York Rangers and regained their second universal card. Both scored 77 points, but Habs gained an advantage in the ranking by playing less games. Habs fans got the assumptional desire when they were on a single-game difference Tuesday, April 1, when they faced the Panthers 44-26-3 again in the second half of the Family and Family Series (no joke).
