Providence Brown Bear has acquired the center Jake Gaudet Borrowed from the Cleveland Monster. In exchange, the Boston Browns have reassigned the defenders Drew Bavaro Go to Cleveland.
Gaudet recorded one goal and five assists in 41 games in Cleveland this season (his fifth professional campaign). He has monsters in 158 professional regular season AHL games, with 12 goals and 19 assists and 31 points.
When Cleveland reached the Eastern Conference Finals in 2024, Goldet added three goals and two assists in 12 playoff games.
Bavaro has skated in 20 games in Providence this season and has received three assists. The rookie from Sarasota, Florida played four seasons at Bentley University (2020-22) and Notre Dame (2022-24), before working with P-Bruins last spring.
Bavaro signed with Boston on March 13, 2024.
