Brandel Chamblee Explode Bryson DeChambeau’s bunker Tirade

Despite last week in Lev Mexico City, Bryson DeChambeau performed best this season despite leading the way. However, if you see Bryson’s angry reaction to the bunker in the host class before the game begins, you might be surprised by how he performs. Now, a video appears at DeChambeau’s Bunker Rant, which TV analyst Brandel Chamblee is not happy with.

DeChambeau’s Liv Mexico City swoon

In the first two rounds of Mexico City, DeChambeau shot the goal with eight shots below 63 and 66-under 66 to lead with one shot to enter the final round of Sunday.

Bryson was in a disappointing final round of the Masters in 2025, where he maintained his lead on the third tee before struggling with the rest of the road and shooting 75 times. Eventually, when Rory McIlroy won the championship, his master won the dream of victory.

Given the poor ending, DeChambeau may intend to prove that it was a trip. But in Mexico City, Bryson struggled again in the final round. He had two bogeys and a double bogey to get to the even number of the day. That threw him to T2-Finish and handed the title to Joaquin Neman.

Bryson’s angry bunker roars

This brings us to the video of the golf social media world shared by @PerisGolf on Instagram. Before the Liv Mexico City event began, DeChambeau practiced at host Club De Golf Chapultepec.

During his practice, Bryson is filmed, trying to escape multiple bunkers in the course. The two-time U.S. Open champion was obviously unhappy with the state of sand in the bunker and he loudly announced his dissatisfaction with the camera.

“The Worst F-Boat of All Time!” DeChambeau shouted from a bunker, raising his arms in disgust: “The Worst!”

When an observer asked Bryson whether the question was attributed to the “Dechambeau”, DeChambeau shot and explained quickly.

“No! No! Look, you have the F-thumb roller. What the hell is it,” DeChambeau continued. “You might hurt someone else’s wrist. You can break someone else’s wrist. You can’t even figure it out.”

The specific problems DeChambeau encountered on the bunker beach are not entirely clear, but to support his words, the video shows that Liv Pro failed to escape from the bunker in at least four instances.

The video then cuts into Dechambeau in another bunker. After playing his shot, it once again didn’t leave the range of the sand trap, DeChambeau reiterated his point.

“Too bad. It’s better, but it’s too bad.”

Chamblee takes DeChambeau to perform tasks

Longtime TV analyst Brandel Chamblee is a frequent LIV golf critic. DeChambeau is one of his favorite targets.

So when Chamblee watched the video, he couldn’t help commenting on it publicly.

In an article on X, Chamblee wrote that DeChambeau “registered for this” and claimed that Liv Golf did not value “the best conditional course” but rather those who agreed to host LIV events.

He then spoke directly to Bryson and said, “You signed hundreds of millions of dollars in signatures to quit smoking.”

Chamblee is the latest famous golf analyst to publicly criticize Dechambeau, but not the first.

Six-time Major Champion and former CBS chief analyst Nick Faldo recently received criticism of DeChambeau while working for Sky Sports in the 2025 Masters.

But when interviewed by the reaction, Faldo provided a passionate defense of his criticism.

“That’s the Bull-T,” Faldo said of his critics era. “I like that guy. He texted him after winning the U.S. Open. I don’t like the way he plays sometimes, and I allow me to criticize.”

Golf fans will see DeChambeau on the biggest stage again in two weeks when he tried to win his third major title in the 2025 PGA Championship.
