Arsenal hopes to strengthen their team in almost every field before another Premier League Challenge next season, but until now, we have rarely heard of radar against new defenders.

Fabrizio Romano said all three aspects are ready to trigger his previous £50 million release clause in one phase, and Arsenal also proposed a formal contract with Huijsen’s representative (Cadena Ser).
After missing Huijsen, Arsenal’s pursuit of centre-back seems to have become Berta’s bearish bear, Mikel Arteta has boasted that Jakub Kiwior, William Saliba, Riccardo Calafiori and Gabriel are all able to play at his Defense core.
A new deal for the latter also eases the immediate need for another centre-back, and even if AC Milan formally takes a formal interest in Kiwior and signs Polish International, any new defender may need to accept them as an alternative option behind Gabriel and Saliba.
Arsenal has reportedly discussed the 19-year-old Ajax sensational Jorrel Hato who can play at left-back and centre-back, and he will be ideal for Arteta’s star centre-back duo.
The center hasn’t completely gotten out of the situation, and Lille defender Alexsandro has now attracted Berta’s interest.
Arsenal holds preliminary negotiations on signing Lille’s Alex Sandro
The 25-year-old made his debut in Brazil recently with a fine season in Ligue 1, starting the World Cup qualifier against Ecuador and Paraguay, and Arsenal noticed his loophole in 2025.
According to UOL, the Arsenal Scouts were present, watching his action against Paraguay, while Alexsandro is considering exiting from Lille this summer so he can go to Berta.
More importantly, Arsenal made his first contact with Alexandro, who is said to be a fan of the defender but faces a Serie A title.
His market value is also around £26m, but after his excellent 2024/2025 in Lille, the French side may need more after losing both Angel Gomes and Jonathan David.
