David Morel angers David Benavidez fans after taking to social media to say he only knows how to “eat tacos” “Can't speak Spanish.” The comments sparked outrage among Benavidez fans, who lashed out at the talented Cuban, saying he would knock him out for his disrespect.

Many people believe that the “Mexican Monster” will knock out Morel, but that may not be true. Benavidez has become a different fighter since moving up to 175; his power just doesn't fit the weight class.

Light heavyweight is kryptonite For Benavidez. He's gone from superhuman to an average boxer who might have problems against a true 175-pounder like Morel. The two boxers will face off in 23 days from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on PBC Prime Video PPV.

Morel reacts to Benavidez's comments about his eating habits fragile condition When they first met face to face. Benavidez was paunchy and looked like a long-haul truck driver accustomed to eating at greasy roadside diners. That paunch is worse than Tyson Fury.

Thankfully, Benavidez appears to have lost some weight. Interestingly, it was only six months since his last fight with Oleksandr Gvozdyk (June 15), when he began promoting a February 1 fight with Morel. Morrell's game. How on earth did Benavidez gain so much weight in half a year? He had to really commit himself between fights to get that fat.

Obviously, Benavidez can't continue to let his body get out of shape in the future, because if he can't reach 175, or if he is forced to exhaust his energy to gain weight, his career will not develop much. When he debuted last summer at 175, he looked scrawny, which was a bad sign.

If Benavidez has worked so hard to make weight at light heavyweight, he won't be there long before he's forced to move up to light heavyweight and fight IBF champion Jai Opeta Jai Opetaia competition.

WBA “regular” light heavyweight champion Morel (11-0, 9 KOs) was understandably commenting on Benavidez's Spanish, as he revealed he had problems understanding him. Morel spoke so fast that Benavidez couldn't understand.

“I'm ready for February 1st. Long live Mexico, you guys. Benavidez doesn't even speak Spanish,” David Morel said on social media. “He knows how to eat tacos and trash. May the best win.
