Emery says he wants to help Rashford restore confidence after Chelsea Win’s impressive display

Unai Emery said he wanted to impress Aston Villa Cam behind Manchester United loanee, beating Villa Park Chelsea from behind, and he wanted to “support” and “help” Marcus S Rashford.

Villa’s other loan signing, Marco Asensio scored twice in the second half, with the host recovering from the opening game of Enzo Fernandez for a 2-1 victory.

Rashford was on the bench in the halftime and he assisted the two goals.

Rashford looks like a constant threat to Villa’s left, Emery revealed that he wants to help the 27-year-old regain confidence.

“[We want to] Support him, help him, and make him feel confident here so that we can have confidence in us. ” Emory said after the game.

“He hopes to be more and more important to us.”

The villa owner admitted to being under par against Chelsea in the first half, but he praised his players for their performance after the break.

Emory said: “We need more. We acknowledged a lot, not dominating the game. Today we started very badly, we acknowledged the goal. We were late in the media. Then, we gradually got better.

“In the second half, we did a great job. The submarine had a great impact and we needed it because we played on Wednesday [against Liverpool] We are tired. ”

Emery added that Villa will be thrust in strengthening their team in January’s transfer window if Villa is going to compete in three different fronts this season important.

“We need to improve our team,” Espanyol said.
