Carolina Hurricane 3 Stars in April – Hockey Writer – Carolina Hurricane

The Carolina Hurricanes are now heading for the second round of the 2025 Stanley Cup playoffs, and they will face the Washington Capitals. Prior to early May, the Hurricanes won 2-6-1 in the last nine games of the regular season in April, ending with a record of 47-30-5 (99 points). While the record isn’t great, the Hurricane took some regulars during the final week of the season. Still, some players stood out in the last nine regular season and playoff games in April.

In Part 7, “Three Stars of the Month” Hockey writer, We will examine who brought the road to the hurricane last month.

Third Star: Andrei Svichnikov

Andrei Svechnikov won the third star as he was impressive in the first round against the New Jersey Devils, more important than his few games in the regular season than he did, with a goal and three in seven games. However, in the first round, he opened the game, scored five goals and scored six points in the five-game series. Game 4 was his breakthrough performance as he scored the Hurricanes’ second playoff hat trick on the way to a 5-2 victory.

The Hurricane waited for Svechnikov to roll throughout the season, with Games 4 and 5 being his party. Although he only scored 20 goals and 48 points in the regular season, his performance in the playoffs so far should give him confidence. His greatest ability is his availability to the hurricane in the first round, without punishment. Svechnikov is able to achieve more than 25 goals and over 60 points in the season, please note if this playoff unlocks another level of GHIS game.

Second Star: Sebastian Ao

Sebastian Aho is arguably the first of this month. He has achieved good results in the regular season, with four assists and five points in seven games in April. However, he was the first round beast, ending with three goals and eight points. He leads the team assists (five), scores (eight), strong games and goals that win games (three). He scored half of the Hurricanes’ six powerful goals in Round 1, including matches and championship goals in Game 5 to secure a series victory.

Aho finished with 5.6 hit percentage (s%) in seven regular season games. However, he has 21.4 s% in five playoff games. He is undoubtedly one of the most important players in the first round of the Hurricane.

First Star: Seth Jarvis

In the sixth match, Seth Jarvis was one of three stars of the month. He scored three goals and nine points in seven games in April and recorded two goals and five points in the first round. Despite Aho’s great series, his April stats aren’t comparable to Jarvis, who surpassed every game this month and Round 1.

Is it split hair? possible. But Jarvis also scored 11.1 s% in seven regular season games and 18.2% in five games against the Devils. Jarvis is more consistent than Aho’s 5.6 and 21.4 s%, which put him on the edge of the first star honor.

Now we’re waiting for round 2

Now, the Hurricanes are waiting for the NHL to unveil the second round of the series against the Capitals. This should be an interesting series as the Hurricanes are second only to the Capitals in the Metropolitan Division and beat the Capitals 2-1-1 in the regular season.
