Guardiola’s Manchester City had a relatively tough start to the 2020/21 season, especially struggling before the goal.

So when the club was charged 115 times for alleged financial rules violations, rumors began to circulate and New York City could face a relegation as fans feared Guardiola might have a way out.

But Guardiola solved the issue in November, assuring supporters that he remains completely committed to the club, regardless of the outcome.
