Catriona Matthew OBE, who guided Great Britain and Ireland to a memorable Curtis Cup win earlier this year, will continue in charge in 2026 against the United States at Bel Air Country Club Captain.

In other international competition in 2025, European Tour Champion and Stirling University High Performance Golf Coach Dean Robertson captains GB&I at the Walker Cup at Cypress Point Club on 6 and 7 September.
Robertson is also in charge of GB&I's St Andrews Trophy in July at the Real Club de la Puerta de Hierro in Spain.
Chris King has been reappointed as captain of the GB&I Jacques Léglise Trophy men's side next year, with senior Ireland international Deirdre Walsh once again leading the charge The GB&I girls team competes for the Junior Vagliano Trophy.
Non-captain Walsh led GB&I to their first continental win in August in the Junior Valiano Cup in West Lancashire.
