Chelsea will end with a huge finale of the 2024/25 season. They are currently reaching the Swedish overall lead with Sweden. Given that the tie was on the Stamford Bridge, they became a powerful favorite.
On top of that, Enzo Maresca’s side finished the top five in the Premier League. In this sense, it was a huge victory to beat Liverpool, the Premier League champion, 3-1, on Sunday.
Then, of course, the Blues are participants in the Club World Cup, where they will face the Mexican Club in the first group stage.
With the transfer window opening to accommodate the match, the West Londoners may want to add their roster in the coming weeks.
Chelsea targets Premier League attacker
In a wide range of areas, Maresca has no choice. So the Blues are looking to add new wingers to their squad, which could be a surprise.
Transfer focus
Giant money deals, controversial moves and big-name slippers. This is the hometown of football fans’ transfer news and opinions.
However, rumors linking them to Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho don’t seem to go away.
Now, according to a recent report by football insiders, Chelsea is considered to be “planning new moves to sign the 20-year-old”. Given that they need to raise their own transfer funds, the Red Devils are “willing to let him go”.
However, for Chelsea, the Argentine international will not be cheap. According to the latest report from the Daily Star, Manchester United could require a £65 million fee from West Londoners.
Given that the Blues have tried and failed to sign Garnacho last January, it seems they can meet that need.
Comparison between Garnacho and Noni Madueke
It was a rather bleak sport for Manchester United. But Garnacho is definitely a bright spark at times. Despite his outstanding performance around Christmas, he did take it again in recent weeks.
This semester, the young attacker has 11 goals and ten assists in all 54 games. His scores six times, offered twice in the Premier League, playing 34 games in the top game.
It is impressive that only under 21 players under 21 this season have ten or ten or more assists. The list includes Lamine Yamal, Jude Bellingham and Garnacho. His most recent strike was in Brentford, which was a lofty effort of 4-3.
Maybe Garnacho might have a similar impact on Stamford Bridge like Noni Madueke did that semester. The former PSV Eindhoven star has also been electric this semester and has managed to paint 11 goals and 5 assists in all games.
Former Booth player Jason Cundy recently received praise for Madueke after scoring a goal against Djurgarden in the 4-1 league.
The public space turned by the defender explains that as a defender, you know “when he goes above you, he goes away from you”, which shows that it’s hard for him to keep quiet.
Interestingly, statistical comparisons can be made between Manchester United No. 17, between Garnacho and Chelsea Man Madueke, provided by FBREF.
For example, Garnacho averaged 0.21 goals per shot and 1.47 key passes per 90 minutes. By comparison, Madueke averaged 0.23 goals per shot and 1.49 keys passed per game.

There must be similarities between Garnacho and Madueke, because they like the opposite side and they can both play together. If the Argentine star could approach the influence of the British winger at Stamford Bridge, it would be a successful signing.
Although the £65 million fee is a huge fee, according to football statistician Statman Dave, Garnacho is a “special talent” and Chelsea may not want to miss this market opportunity.
