According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea’s goal is now to seal key targets by the end of this month, and Enzo Maresca’s team is very keen to reach a deal with players as soon as possible.

Stamford Bridge recruiters are very enthusiastic.
Chelsea will be fully aware of the tough task facing Sunday, already in the Calaba Cup Cup this season, but they will also join the game after defeating Premier League champion Liverpool last weekend.

Maresca’s side was promoted again to win the last three league games, and Newcastle was a very matched opponent. Both sides are at levels in scoring and goal difference, but the Northern victory has everyone outside of Chelsea’s position in the Champions League draw next season, depending on the results elsewhere.
“It’s a big deal, it’s a huge thing,” said Maresca in the conflict between Chelsea and Newcastle.
“Manchester United will be a big game, the Forest will be a big game. Now we have three games left and all will be big games. To be sure, Sunday is a chance to start the right way. We are doing well and in a good mood and hopefully we can play a great game and win the game.”
As Maresca has confirmed, keeping them in the top five and qualifying for the Champions League will also have a ripple effect when it comes to their summer transfer plan.
Chelsea wants to sign Dean Huijsen, “to the end of May”
One of their main targets is Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen.
The Spaniard’s £50 million issuance clause has attracted interest in England and beyond, and Chelsea believes it is a serious negotiation with Huijsen’s camp before the summer window that will open on June 1.
According to Romano, Chelsea spoke on his YouTube channel and now wants to make a deal with Huijsen by the end of May as they try to close the deal as soon as possible in a fierce competition for signatures.
Romano said: “The idea of the three major Premier League clubs in this story is that Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, is now about to reach the deal as soon as possible.”
“Now that means by the end of May, so the deal is closed this month.”
The 20-year-old was impressed by his debut campaign in England, with Sky Sports expert Jamie Redknapp’s praise for Huijsen as an already “complete” defender.
“If you are creating a football player, modern centre-back, you will be influenced by the Netherlands, Spain, where they carry the ball and all the great defenders,” Redknapp said.
“Then, you also have the Italian mark, so the journey, the mixture he has is perfect and now he finds himself in the Premier League. The elements are good, everything is for him. You have to get all the right ingredients to be a top player.
“He’s a complete player, this young man.”
