Chelsea won the Europa Conference League last night, becoming the first team to tie for the Europa League and Champions League titles.
Enzo Maresca’s side made a comeback in the second half after a goal against Real Betis at a break, ending the game with a 4-1 victory in Wrocław.
The goals of Enzo Fernández, Nicolas Jackson, Jadon Sancho and Moises Caicedo surpassed the victory in the weeks.
Such results have led the Italian to win the es last summer, hoping to succeed throughout the 2025/26 campaign.
However, despite another inspiring comeback in the second half, many players failed to pass the ball in the European final, which made Stamford Bridge’s position huge.
Chelsea’s performance is not good against the real Betis
Last night, winger Noni Madueke started Chelsea again for Chelsea, but the British couldn’t remember the show – often failing to be in the last third.
The 23-year-old completed only 50% of the dribble and was unable to complete a cross, but the attacker’s attacker in Poland had forgotten.
He didn’t work hard alone, right-back Malo Gusto also showed a disastrous performance, then replaced by Reece James during break.
The Frenchman had to play an inverted role but made a mistake that led to the opening of the Spanish goal, failing to win a tackle he entered.
However, despite the above duo’s performance, another first team member failed to make the finals and his outing last night needed to be the last for him for the Blues.
Chelsea Dud
Despite such a victory, this summer will be a huge win for Chelsea, with Stamford Bridge going to have revenue and spending in the coming months.
Maresca made some huge decisions, including sending Jadon Sancho’s deal permanently or £5 million fees back to Manchester United.
As for revenue, the likes of Liam Delap, Hugo Ekitiké and Joao Pedro are all touted as joining the Blues move, and the manager is clearly targeting in the last third.
But whatever deal he decides to pursue or approve, he needs to uninstall centre-back Benoit Badiashile and allow the defense lawyer to move on.
He joined the club in 2023 with a £35m contract, making 53 appearances, and most of his performance this season has been in the conference league.
The 24-year-old started his final against Betis, which lasted 61 minutes before being replaced by college graduate Levi Colwill, highlighting his lack of influence.
He may have registered 92 contacts, but it was disappointing without the ball, losing 100% of the tackle he entered and fouled, resulting in him being beaten.

Badiashile also only made one interception and was not ranked first in any air duel, working hard to create a show worthy of the European Cup final.
He was rated 4/10 by the standard Malik Ouzia for his performance in Spanish costumes – indicating his lack of positive influence.
As the summer transfer window approaches, it won’t be surprising if Badiashile is unloaded during the off-season, ending his spell in West London.
He proved last night that he could not deliver at a critical moment, and Maresca needed to reduce losses and sell him in order to increase investment in key areas this summer.
