Toronto Scepter hosted the New York Siren in Game 5 of the 2024-25 Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) season. The Scepter won 2-1 with two goals from Daryl Watts.
Game review
With three minutes left in the first phase, the Scepter first entered the board. In a missed pass from the sirens, Daryl Watts picked up the puck and slid it into the attacking area of the scepter. From the center of the ice, she took a shot and passed by Corinne Schroeder.
From the second to the second, Watts repeated her first success. Natalie Spooner wraps the puck around the board, watt. She put it on the blue line Anna Kelbin. Kjellbin handed it over to Watts, who skied to the confrontation circle. Once Watt reached the edge, she let the puck fly and found her home behind the network. Greg Fargo challenged the goalkeeper’s interference, but the referee determined that it was a good goal.
Ten minutes into the second phase, the sirens won the standoff. The hockey spotted Jamie Bourtons at the blue line. She passed Ella Shelton to the left. Sheldon fired, and Alex Carpenter tilted it into the net to make sure the sirens were not turned off.
The third stage is full of scoring opportunities and free throws. Each team was punished twice, but neither team could take advantage of their super player advantages. No goals were scored in the third inning, with a final score of 2-1.

The siren will be back home and they will host the Ottawa charges on Saturday, March 22. SCEPTRES will travel to Montreal, where they will be doing Victoria on March 23.
