David Beckham will be reportedly named as the upcoming King’s birthday honor.
The praise will mark a new milestone in recognition of his legendary football career and extensive philanthropy work.
The 50-year-old captained in England and received 115 international caps, initially becoming an official of the OBE medal in 2003. Twenty years later, he is now expected to receive one of the highest honors in Britain.
Beckham’s professional journey spans some of the world’s top clubs, including Manchester United, Real Madrid, Los Angeles Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan. He hung his boots in 2013.
On the scene, Beckham was deeply involved in charity and charity work. He has served as UNICEF ambassador since 2005 and in 2015 he established the David Beckham UNICEF Fund to celebrate a decade of partnership.
Recently, Beckham became the ambassador of the Kings Foundation in 2024, aiming to promote youth education and environmental awareness, a key move by King Charles III.

Beckham was nominated for the Cavaliers for the first time in 2011. But the journey is not without controversy. In 2017, leaked emails surfaced, and Beckham reportedly criticized the honor system and its decision makers.
In addition to his sporting and philanthropic achievements, Beckham has made significant contributions to football ownership and development.
He is a part-time Salford City, who competes in England’s second league and serves as president and co-owner of the Miami Major League Soccer League.
Beckham’s long-time England teammate Wayne Rooney praised the move: “He is a great ambassador to football and the country.
“We’ve all seen the charity work he’s done over the years and I’m sure he’ll continue to do that.
“Global, he is a huge idol for any charity to work with and over the years he has been proud of raising a lot of money.
“If you don’t work hard, you won’t reach his level globally. He perseveres and keeps getting the rewards he deserves.”
