Deputy Golf Releases Deputy Golf Club Starting Set

Vice Golf has been a key player in direct-to-consumer golf courses for the past few years, but now the company is ready to show off its golf clubs.

Vice, coupled with the already growing forged iron, wedges and putters, announced its new starter set, The Vice Boost, which includes nine clubs and a golf bag.

“Our mission is to make the game more accessible,” Marco Burger, deputy chief product officer, said in a press release. “The set of deputy boosted starters is the climax of extensive research and feedback for golfers every day, providing top-notch performance at entry-level price points. We’ve removed the intimidation factor so new players can trust their devices and focus on playing.”

Thanks to the DTC model, VICE is already a bargain with their golf balls and existing clubs. If you order six dozen or more, a box of premium, urethane-covered golf balls cost $39.99, or just $32.99/t. The price of the secondary push starter kit is super competitive, with the men’s suits being $449.99 and the women’s suits being $469.99.

At this price you will get a Nine Club set that includes the driver, hybrid (male 4, female 5), a 6-SW iron set and blade push rod, and a 7-up top rack bag.

Like many golf products, the VICE BOOST collection is built by leveraging data from VICE’s collaboration with Hio Labs, Europe’s largest accessories agency. Through this partnership, VICE is able to use millions of swing data points to help ensure easier launch, straighter lenses and better forgiveness.

While the set costs under $500, Vice still goes all out on premium materials. The driver is made of forged titanium, while the iron is made of durable steel. The push rod also has a sand nickel chrome finish and a CNC-milled face.
