Devil’s Development Camp Battle: Attractions and Sounds – Hockey Writer – New Jersey Devils

On Wednesday morning, New Jersey Devils Season Ticket Holders packed the RWJ Barnabas Health Hockey House to watch the team’s annual development business. Although it was originally scheduled to be a 3-on-3 tournament, it was changed to a red team and a white team due to the large number of players in the camp.

This may be better for fans, as they have to see some of the prospects they like in real game action. It is divided into two and a half minutes. The first one is 5v5; the second one is 4v4. This is the roster. The goal is bold. Scroll to the Gunfight section to watch some videos.

Melee Review

P1, 16:40 – Matyas Melovsky (White) denied Point Blank by Jakub Malek (red) to set him out after Cam Squires made perfect backhand feed online.

P1, 15:10 – Fighting for the crease in the wild, but Mikhail Yegorov (White) stays strong and keeps the puck.

P1, 13:30 – Chase Cheslock (White) with Squires on 2-on-1, he just missed the position in the distance.

P1, 12:30 – Big Hopt Block by Charlie Leddy (White), his legs are a little painful. He is OK. His teammates pounded their sticks on the board.

P1, 10:20 – Riley Fitzgerald (White) was rejected by Malik during a partial break.

Trenten Bennett (red) made the goal by Jakub Malek.

P1, 8:35 – Melovsky drives his own path towards the crease, but Bennett denies him.

P1, 8:11 – Bennett saves on Gustav Hillstrom (white) wearing big gloves.

P1, 4:15 – Chase Cheslock (White) comes with a nice spring pass, he goes 1-to-1, just missing out on the short side.

P1, 2:45 – Jeremy Hanzel (White) takes a hard check on Artem Barabosha (red) and pulls some “Oh” out of the crowd.

P1, 1:35 – Kody Dupuis (red) was rejected by Yegorov.

P1, 0:58 – Ethan Edwards (Red) hung his own way among several defenders, setting up a training for Ben Kevan (Red), but he was turned down by Yegorov.

P1, 0:22 – Leddy (White) was rejected by Bennett for a rebound opportunity.

The game switches to 4V4 in the second half. Veeti Louhivaara (White) is Yegorov’s goal.

P2, 21:33 – Squires denied Bennett’s 2-to-1 Blank, and Bennett’s side movement also prevented the rebound.

P2, 19:16 – Kevan struggled to travel through time, tightly stopped by Louhivaara.

P2, 17:46 – Cheslock is denied by Bennett tightly backhanded.

P2, 16:53 – Shane Lachance (red) about 100 feet during local rest, rejected by Louhivaara.

P2, Goal 16:12 – Luke Reid (White) put White 1-0 lead on five holes on Bennett.

Tyler Brennan (red) sent to Bennett.

P2, 13:19 – Barabosha (White), catch up with Mason Moe (Red) and win the board battle.

P2, 11:28 – Moe tried to shoot five holes quickly at Brennan but was rejected.

P2, Goal 10:12 – Shane Lachance (Red) cleared the bounce of the crease after Mikael Diotte’s shot was almost squeaking, tied it to 1 o’clock.

P2, 8:13 – Moe moved online with the motivation, but was stopped by Brennan.

P2, 7:30 – Cheslock’s job was great, taking the puck away from Josh Filmon (Red) with his stick.

P2, 6:45 – Brennan saved Nice Glove on Gustav Hillstrom (White).

P2, 5:45 – Mason Moe got to the middle of the ice brilliantly, but his winner was strayed from the game.

P2, 3:19 – Quick shot by Melovsky, Brennan saves a good stick.

P2, 2:38 – Kasper Pikkarainen (red) impressive gains on Melovsky.

P2, 1:09 – Giovanni Digiulian (red) Note Toe Drag moves to a quick shot and hits the post office.

P2, 0:13 – Viktor Hurtig (Red) arrives in the middle and has a chance to win…and fix it from the beam.

P2, 0:02 – David Rozsival (White)’s impressive net drive, Hillstrom has a huge chance to hit the rebound in the buzzer, but Brennan knocked him out. The crowd brought great applause to Brennan.

The end of the development camp

The end of this game marks the end of the entire development camp. The next event on the Devil’s Calendar will be the rookie reporting to the bootcamp on September 10.
