Luis Enrique said Paris Saint-Germain will have to contain Liverpool’s “three fighters” when the two sides meet in the Champions League tomorrow.

The Ligue 1 leader has been outstanding in recent weeks, winning 18 of the last 20 games in all competitions, but former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique remains alert to the Mercedes, especially their offensive trio against Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz, Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo.

Luis Enrique is a big fan of Arne Slot

Luis Enrique also praised his relative number Arne Slot, who has been impressed since taking over from Jurgen Klopp of Anfield.

Liverpool ranks first in the improved Champions League group stage and leads the Premier League.

He added: “Liverpool is one of the best teams in Europe in recent years. We will face the best team in the Champions League so far this season.

“It might be hard to do better for Arne Slot after his time at Jürgen Klopp, but he managed to create a perfect team that knows how to press, defend and attack. They know how to use attacks and fast attacks.
