Dimitar Berbatov claims Tottenham Legend is as good as Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic

Totterham Hotspur has had the greatest player in Premier League history for many years, ranging from players like Luka Modric to international superstars like Gareth Bale, but former striker Dimitar Berbatov believes a Spurs star is even better than people realize.
Tottenham’s 2024/25 campaign ended the Europa League and ended the trophy drought, one of their worst seasons ever, and one of the best endings ever, as Ange Postecoglou did a good job delivering on his promise of “always winning things” in his second season at the club.
It’s been 17 years since Lily’s time, not winning major honors, and seeing legendary players like Harry Kane not win trophys throughout their careers at the club.
The best Premier League player in Tottenham Hotspur’s pictures
A famous player is a famous player who ensures silver protection for the club. The Tottenham Academy graduates made 268 league appearances at the club, brought 21 blocks to England and were part of Tottenham Hotspurs’ last team to win the trophy before winning the trophy, winning the League Cup in 2008 before Bilbao’s victory.
However, his career is largely a case of “if” because former manager Harry Redknapp once revealed that he rarely trained due to injuries.
“There is no cure. There is no cartilage, there is nothing to do. It’s just a bone on the bone. So it’s just a matter of managing it. It swells after the game and usually takes seven days to recover, but played him on Monday night for less time than usual.
“He rarely trains, he mostly just goes to the gym and keeps ticking. But there is no running or anything like that. But even if he only plays 20 games per season, he is worth it because he is so good and we have a better chance to win.”
Berbatov: Ridley King is as good as Ferdinand is as good as Vidic
One person who is lucky enough to play with the best centre-back in Premier League history is Berbatov, who joined Manchester United in 2008 after two successful seasons with the Spurs, claiming that King is probably the best.

Bulgaria’s legend revealed in an interview at Talk Port that despite all his success at Manchester United – winning two Premier League titles – is King right there, one of his best teammates of all time.
“For me, he and [Nemanja] Vidic and Rio [Ferdinand]. He was so smart and read the game. He always intercepts purely because he knows where the forward will be. ”
Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, another admirer of the King, revealed that he was England’s “only defender” who could “even not notice” to take the ball from him.
King spent the 2020/21 season on Jose Mourinho’s first team and has since worked with the club as an ambassador, and his name can still be heard near Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on match day, in the 26th minute.
Hopefully he doesn’t have to wait 17 years to see his favorite club lift another trophy.
