India's legendary captain MS Dhoni recently spoke about his life after his retirement from international cricket. Dhoni also revealed whether he misses playing for Team India after hanging up his boots.

Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket in August 2020.

Dhoni was dismissed in the final stages of the match as India failed to qualify for the final. His wicket could have been the final nail in the coffin as it qualified New Zealand for the summit clash.

Does MS Dhoni miss international cricket?

MS Dhoni spoke about his post-retirement life while speaking on the Eurogrip Tires YouTube channel. He claimed that even after retiring from international cricket he still didn't have much time.

Unsurprisingly, though, he gave a straightforward answer when asked about his absence from international cricket. He made it clear that he was not going to miss the decision because he thought it through before announcing it and knew there was no need to think about it again.

“I thought I would get more time but unfortunately, I didn't get much time. I don't miss international cricket because I always believe that you know you consider everything and then take a decision,” Dhoni said .

“Once you make a decision, there's no need to really think about it. So whatever I can do for my country, I'm very happy by the grace of God,” he added.

MS Dhoni talks about life after retirement

MS Dhoni further elaborated on his post-retirement life and claimed that it has enabled him to connect with family and friends again. He also shares his love for bikes and how to ride them without any barriers.

“It's fun. I'm able to spend a lot of time with friends and I get to ride more motorcycles instead of long rides, which is something I really enjoy. Family time is great and your daughter will ask you when you're coming back ,” Dhoni said.

Dhoni is known to have a long-standing love for motorcycles. The legendary goalkeeper has a diverse collection of bikes that he is often seen riding on or near his home.

MS Dhoni remains an active IPL player

Although MS Dhoni has retired from international cricket, he is still an active player in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 43-year-old has been playing for his beloved Chennai Super Kings and will play for them in the upcoming season.

CSK retained Dhoni for Rs 4 crore as he last played an international match more than five years ago. He's become more of a low hitter over the past few years and has made some fiery cameos in the low post.
