Aston Villa has signed a “incredible” £67m this summer in a transfer battle with Manchester United, according to a new report.

In terms of revenue, Villa seeks to make an offer to sign Ousmane Diomande of the Sporting CP. Emery is eager to sign a new defender this summer, while Diomande has a radar because sports are willing to sell as long as they receive £50m.

The report notes that Villa has developed an interest in Maignan and can now take a concrete approach to signing French International as he will sign the last 12 months of his contract in San Siro.
