Elias Pettersson continues to beat the Blackhawks 6-2 – Hockey Writer – Vancouver Canucks

After they returned in the third stage and won the gunfight after Wednesday’s victory against the Calgary Flames, the Vancouver Canucks returned to it Saturday night, facing the Chicago Blackhawks who lived in the basement. Meanwhile, the Blackhawks entered a three-game winning streak, most recently in Thursday’s game against the San Jose Sharks, hoping to bring the wrench into Garnerx’s playoff plan. However, the Blackhawks fell 6-2 in a relatively low shot at Rogers Arena, which saw the Blackhawks play the role in this spoiler.

The Karnaks scored goals from everyone’s roster through the lineup, six different players lit the lights in the victory, and there were multiple games in six games. Quinn Hughes and Tyler Myers scored goals in Game 1, Conor Garland, Elias Pettersson (the fourth of his five games), Nils Aman and Pius Suter ended the celebrations for the third time. The Blackhawks answered with the goal of defenders Alex Vlasic and Wyatt Kaiser.

After winning the victory, the Canucks scored 73 points, breaking the final wildcard list with Calgary Flames. They also moved out first place within six points in the Minnesota field, with seven of the Edmonton Oilers in the Pacific Division. As for the Blackhawks, they lost their fourth straight win and continued to fight for the best lottery odds in the 2025 draft.

Game review

In a fast moving first phase, there was little whistle blowing, plus humans spent most of their time in the Blackhawk area, producing almost no shooting. They had only four registered shots, but ended up with two registered shots from Blackhawks goalkeeper Arvid Soderblom at the end of the period. After Arturs Silovs made a huge savings on Arturs 2-to-1, Hughes finally won his team at 17:46 as he snatched his 15th place from the click match with Soderblom’s gloves. Then, 38 seconds later, Tyler Myers doubled the lead with his fifth time, nearly knocking out Soderblom in the same place. Overall, the shots only support the Blackhawks 5-4, but the Canucks have a 2-0 advantage in the scoreboard.

The second stage is similar to the first stage, and the shots of the shots are similar. However, the Garners once again acquired one of them through Soderblom, when Garland backhanded with Suter and stood out in the 17th season of the season. The 3-0 lead has remained almost throughout the period, but Vlasic broke the Silovs’ closing ceremony in the last two minutes, beating his traffic only in his fourth campaign. As mentioned earlier, overall, still very low, with the Blackhawks leading 15-10.

The Karnak broke the game with three goals from Petterson, Oman and Sut, increasing the lead to 6-2. Kaiser ended after Pettersson bounced his 15th place from the Center Bar, but Aman and Suter were eight seconds apart to drive the game away. The only bad thing that came out of this period was that Jason Dickinson sent him to the locker room in the attack of Filip Chytil. With Chytil’s history of concussion, I hope he has not been hit.

Goalkeeper showdown

  • Soderblom stopped just 9 of 15 photos in this match to get a horrible .600 savings percentage.
  • Silovs won his second win of the season after a 17 save. His first victory also competed with the Blackhawks on November 16, 2024.

What’s next for Canucks & Blackhawks?

Tomorrow in the second of three games, the Canucks will be in action against Utah Hockey Club tomorrow, while the Blackhawks took a few days before hosting Seattle Cleken on Tuesday.
