Thomas Tuchel after winning Albania and Latvia

The Thomas Tuchel era of England and England was encouraging after winning Albania and Latvia to begin the World Cup qualifiers.

Two clean wins secured their command after defeating Albania 3-0 with a 3-0 victory on Friday night.

But, as the German boss suggested after two wins, Tachel’s men obviously still have room for improvement.

After some groundbreaking solo performances and some exciting performances, here are the winners and losers for the next camp of the new management.

winner

Myers Lewis Skeley

For all the topics of Tuchel’s first partial experience, the first shooter of his tenure was one of England’s youngest, while 18-year-old Myles Lewis-Skelly entered his senior debut in just 20 minutes.

He looked reassuring in that game, and then against Latvia, he often went into the midfield from broad as he misplaced only six of his passes in 152 games in two games.

It is hard to object to the claim that the berth of the starting left back is now firmly in the hands of Arsenal Star.

Ezri Konsa

The injury of John Stones and Harry Maguire means a chance to get the centre-back to make a claim, and Ezri Konsa is undoubtedly the one who does.

Aston Villa centre-back led the defense in two games and was at the international level, and he stood out from behind, another impressive part of his double-headed game.

Reese James

Reece James is one of many people who have appeared in England for the first time in a while, and his all-out effort, including a lofty free kick against Latvia, has regained his right-back valuation.

James has maintained a strong relationship with Tuchel since Chelsea, and Captain Bruce’s return may be even worse for the England prospect of injured Trent Alexander-Arnold.

rice

Declan Rice enjoys a slightly different role in Harry Kane’s two assists than he had previously played for England and looks like a skill that suits him well.

The Arsenal midfielder’s burst forward has brought new dynamics to England, but could put the three Lions against tougher opponents, meaning Tacher still needs to find Rice in the cabin as a more defensive partner.

loser

Phil Foden

Phil Foden now has 44 England blocks, but still looks to some extent not exactly looking at the English shirt home, fighting for his country and continuing in the new regime.

Tuchel questioned the Manchester star’s lack of influence on Albania and was included on Jarrod Bowen’s bench in the following matches.

With Bukayo Saka returning to the left, Jude Bellingham solidified his Certificate 10, looking for Foden to find his place in England XI, and it seems unlikely to show the same patience as the former Gareth Southgate shows.

Marc Guehi

Mac Guehi may think the centre-back’s berth was lost after the impressive European Cup in 2024, but he appears to have been usurped by Konsa in the last two games.

After missing Konsa and debut Dan Burn in Albania, Crystal Palace Defender had a shaky night on Monday, mixed with Jordan Pickford’s defense and didn’t paint him with the best lights in front of his new manager.

Morgan Gibbs – White

Morgan Gibbs-White didn’t initially become a team, but was not originally, then left out of the Albanian squad and then placed on the bench to compete in Latvia.

The two senior midfielders deployed by Tuchel should fit into Nottingham Forest Stars, but using Morgan Rogers and Curtis Jones in these positions suggests that Gibbs-White has some work to do.

Marcus Rashford

That’s the same for Marcus Rashford, who is happy to return to England, but like Foden, maybe more needs to be done to make sure he stays there.

Manchester United has rejuvenated since his loan from Villa, and he started two games, but did not make the piece effect stay impossible after Anthony Gordon was spared from injury.
