Rory McIlroy is back. At least, it must be true at the Genesis Scottish Open at Renaissance Club. This is what you need to know on Sunday.
Special four-wheel T-shirt time
After two weeks off McIlroy arrived in Scotland and felt refreshed and thought his carrying the latter was finally over.
He opened with 68 and then backed up with 65 and 66 rounds, sharing Chris Gotterup with Chris Gotterup, with 54 holes under 11.
“This is my first realistic opportunity to win after the Masters,” McIlroy said on Saturday. I won my life and I won the championship.
Sunday’s tee era has been adjusted to a third split T-shirt as fog is expected to roll down from the North Sea.

McIlroy and Gotterup will get off with Wyndham Clark at 8:40 a.m. ET. Clark is one of four players under the age of 9, including Matt Fitzpatrick, Jake Knapp and Marco Penge.
