Steven Gerrard named the biggest Liverpool teammate
The Reds legend spent 17 years at Merseyside, making his debut in 1998 after Liverpool’s Academy.
During that time, Gerrard would never win the Premier League, but, he was one of the greatest players. Worldwide, Gerrard has also become a superstar, with everything he needs to be a top midfielder and is known for scoring goals from a distance.
He could have left Liverpool several times in his career, but remained red until 2015 and his career would be called up after a brief stint with MLS with La Galaxy.
Over the years, at Anfield, Gerrard will play some of the best around, including names like Xabi Alonso, Luis Suarez and Fernando Torres. The British legend actually named the greatest Liverpool 11 XI he played with, and Gerrard named himself very correctly next to it.

But a name is not the one that XI was once highly praised by Gerrard, and the midfielder compared him to an Argentine idol.

However, Liverpool just left Chelsea and he had just signed Joe Cole, which caught Gerrard’s eyes early in Anfield.
In fact, Gerrard said Cole was shocked in training and said his fellow British people did better than Messi.
