Hojlund is “not good enough”, Mainoo’Sloppy’ and Garnacho are “immature” … But Man United Boss Amorim is “really happy” with Striker

Roy Keane dragged down Rasmus Hojlund, Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho and suggested that almost every Manchester United player could leave if any club wanted them – but Ruben Amorim defended the Danish striker after Chelsea pulled another gap.
Marc Cucurella’s 71st minute header proved Stamford Bridge’s only goal at Stamford Bridge as United beat Bilbano on target with his 18th league defeat of the season in the Europa League final against Totterham on Wednesday (20:00 BST).
“Garnacho just ran around him,” the Manchester United legend said of the winner of the Cucumber, he told Sky Sports. “He didn’t solve him, he wasn’t aggressive.
“They don’t have a forward. [Hojlund] It looks like a Chelsea kid, he just came out of the academy. His running was wrong, his timing, his actions.
“We always make excuses for him and talk about confidence, but when you’re a forward, sometimes you have to do something.”

Rasmus Hojlund Statistics: “Not good enough”
Hojlund received a fee of up to £72m from Atalanta in August 2023, but has only won four of the 31 league games this season, including 13 games, with no top goals, and lasted for more than three months.
“The big clubs and Manchester United have always had strikers, and even if they don’t get quality service, they can create something because they have some quality, desire, determination, experience, football wisdom.”
“We can’t see Hojlund. He needs a little support, but my goodness, sometimes you have to do better.
“Hojlund should be the third or fourth choice striker and learn trade from outstanding strikers. He is not enough to be a major figure. He lacks confidence and faith, and he is not surrounded by glory.”
Amorim: Hojlund “improvement”
Co-manager Ruben Amorim said he was “very happy” with Hojlund, part of a team that won the league in seven games.
“All teams have to improve, but [I like] His way of running, fighting for each ball and losing a lot of duels, winning some. The Portuguese added that he was appointed in November but if the results do not improve as soon as possible, he can accept that he leaves the club.
“He needs to improve the connection, but he is improving. He just needs to keep working hard and better days will come.”

Joint transfer of people
Keane struggles to name a unified player who will not be able to sell for the right price this summer, which will be ahead of the Champions League if they win the Europa League.
“Bruno [Fernandes] The thought comes to mind because he is a great player,” the former Manchester United captain said. [Harry] Maguire.
“The goalkeeper has a big decision [Andre Onana]. You need a world-class striker. But this is the one who came in.
“Garnacho, Mainoo, Hojlund – I won’t hang my hats on these three. Mainoo strolls around this place, some of his passes are sloppy. Garnacho is immature…he doesn’t have a week, he comes out every week.”
England defender Maguire’s excellent early ended the offside against Chelsea, with Bruno Fernandes delivering from the left, in the box, after the celebration was finally seen as futile after the video assistant referee (VAR) and semi-automated offside checks.
