There are moments that change everything. For Colonel Dan Rooney, that moment came back from his second post tour in Iraq. When his flight landed, the pilot announced that they would bear the remains of Corporal Brock Barkling. Rooney watched from his seat as Buckling’s twin brothers walked solemnly beside the flag’s coffin, meeting his family on the tarmac. These include Jacob, Buckling’s youngest son.
That night left an indelible mark. After that, it triggered a mission that made thousands of lives. Rooney established the honour scope with a simple but powerful goal: to achieve sacrifice in hope.
Since 2007, Honors and Honors have awarded more than 52,000 educational scholarships to the spouses and children of degenerate or disabled military-service members in the United States. Today, the mission has developed to include first aid workers.
A game of giving back
From the beginning, golf has been the cornerstone of honor missions. Starting with a donation-based Patriot Golf Day is the national movement.

Golf has helped raise millions of dollars in scholarships through charity competitions, brand equipment and grass-roots fundraising. Gary Woodland: A thoughtful ambassador
Few athletes support the honor range more openly than Gary Woodland.
The 2019 U.S. Open champion proudly wore the fold of the honor logo in the course, but his support goes far beyond the logo and look. He spent some time with the life-changing family of organizations. He listens to their stories, connects with their children, and uses his platform to articulate the true representation of honor.

It tells a child who has lost his parents that their dreams are still important. It tells spouses that their family is not alone. And now, it told police that EMT and firefighters’ families are also honored for their service.
