
These milestones are just for the New Jersey Devils players. Timo Meier will play Game 600 against the Colorado Avalanche on February 26.
Meier started his NHL career with the San Jose Sharks. He finished ninth in the 2015 draft and spent seven seasons with San Jose in the 2016-17 season until midway through the 2022-23 season. He played 451 games for the Sharks, scoring 154 goals and adding 162 assists with 316 points.
Just two years ago, Meier’s massive deal with Timur Ibragimov, Scott Harrington, Santeri Hatakka, Zachary Emond and the 2024 fifth-round draft pick was traded with the Devil. In exchange, the Sharks hosted Fabian Zetterlund, Andreas Johnsson, Shakir Mukhamadullin, Nikita Okhotiuk, a conditional 2023 first-round pick, a conditional second-round 2024 draft pick and a seventh-round pick.
Since joining the Devil, Meier has played in 148 games and scored 52 goals and added 52 assists to 104 points. The winger on the left undoubtedly won the top six along with Nico Hischier and Dawson Mercer. At present, these three people form the second line of the devil.
