The tee time at Cypress Point is on every golfer’s bucket list, but unfortunately the second course in the world at Pebble Beach, California is private and super exclusive. Typically, members must invite you to visit the grounds unless later this year.

From September 5 to 7, Cypress Point will host the 50th Walker Cup – an amateur team competition between the United States and the United Kingdom and the United Kingdom will participate every two years. Each team has 10 players. The match was played in two days, with four four-man (alternative shooting) games each morning, then eight singles games on the first afternoon and ten singles games the next afternoon.

In 2023, the U.S. won dramatically with a 14.5-11.5 score on the old court in St. Andrews.

As one of the most amazing venues in the game, Cypress Point is expected to have high demand for tickets. So for equity and fair distribution, USGA announced Thursday that it would hold a lottery to determine who will be able to buy tickets.
