Hurricane threatens the oilman’s Bouchard offer list and more NHL rumors – Hockey writer

Amid today’s NHL rumor, the Edmonton Oilers quickly completed Evan Bouchard’s contract as the Carolina Hurricane threatened to provide him with sheets, but the hub vs. K’Andre Miller hub after Bouchard’s extension. Elsewhere, Detroit Red Wings have some considerable plans but cannot achieve them, such as signing Nikolaj Ehlers or acquiring Victor Arvidsson. Finally, the New Jersey Devil could consider moving Dougie Hamilton and had some conversations.

Hurricane Threat Bouchard Discount List

In the final episode of 32 Thoughts Before the Offseason Break, Elliotte Friedman reported that the Hurricane was threatening the oiler’s Evan Bouchard’s offer list, even so severe that the Hurricane was looking for the Utah Mammoth to earn a 2026 third-round draft pick.

Friedman noted that they were talking to the oiler about a player before the deal deadline, which he thought was Bouchard. Entering the offseason, there are a lot of discussions about quotations everywhere, but Friedman said this to Bouchard:

“Carolina has a lot of hat rooms. Carolina has a lot of draft assets, draft capital. I think the Oilers are worried that the Hurricanes will offer Brucard.

When it comes to Miller, it appears that Hurricane acquired him after Bushad signed. The realized deals, first and second round picks, and Scott Morrow, are valued similar to the quote sheet, and both teams are able to get what they want from the deals as Miller signed his big expansion with the Hurricanes.

Red wings waving, missing multiple players

When entering free agents, players can decide where they can go. Of course, there must be a team interest, but any team may be interested in the right price. For Elles, Red Wings are said to give him a real push, but according to Friedman, Elles has no interest in meeting them. Friedman said Ehlers’ main goal is to attend Eastern Conferences through reduced travel and have the opportunity to compete in frontline competitions. Both of these things are possible in Detroit, but still haven’t met them.

Friedman, along with Ehlers, reported that Arvidsson and Mason march were both commercial goals, but could not be accomplished either. Arvidsson was sentenced to a fifth-round pick while the parade was traded as a third- and fourth-round pick.

There is no more information on why the deal cannot be completed, but Red Wings are well-known to have draft picks and prospects that match those two deals, and both participants have trade protections.

Trade protection measures for any player have not been confirmed, but since the red wings have again missed the playoffs, the team built by Steve Yzerman’s team did not see it as a real issue for the destination players to participate.

Hamilton may leave New Jersey

Another note Friedman gave up, the Devil and Hamilton may be separated this offseason. Over the past few seasons, the Devil has spent a lot of money on the defense team and has put some great players on the roster. Hamilton has made $9 million with three years left per season, and although he has proven to be a good defender, he has suffered a lot of damage over the past few seasons, including Hamilton.

Friedman said he knew Hamilton’s name was there and the Devil was talking about some teams. This doesn’t mean that the deal is certain, or anything about to happen, but it’s a conversation worth watching. The Devil has Hamilton, Brett Pesce, Jonas Siegenthaler and Jonathan Kovacevic locked in at least three seasons, and Luke Hughes may be on the roster as he is currently a restricted free agent.

In the pipeline, Simon Nemec is still seeking to play a full-time role, and Seamus Casey and Anton Silayev have shown a lot of hope. They can move on from Hamilton and be able to recover from it.
