Sean Dyche admits he wants to run Manchester United and is sure he will do better than Ruben Amorim.
Amorim joined Manchester United from Sporting CP in November and despite their reaching the Europa League final, their form in the Premier League has been brutal, with only six wins in his 25 games.

They head to Chelsea for the 16th tomorrow night, three below Everton, who fell into relegation in a relegation battle before being fired in January. Under David Moyes, the Toffees have been revitalized and can now look forward to their new stadium at Bramley Dock.

Regardless of his struggle in Merseyside, Dyche believes that he does better at Old Trafford than Amorim.
He told Football Podcast: “He won’t change the way he plays. [Ruben Amorim] Better to win some games – soon.
“I think if I went there and played my own way, we would win more games. Only 4-4-2 – give them basic principles and rules. We’re all going, ‘Fair Play’ – but, he’s been there for a while, so you’d better start bringing some wins as soon as possible.”
He added: “Howard Wilkinson’s saying is great, he says, ‘Victory, survive, succeed’. Basically, you have to win first, and then you can survive because you win, and then success is when you determine all the principles and style of the game.
“So if he can win enough, it’s a worry within a minute and then survive the process and succeed – that’ll get better.”
Dyche has the dream of unity
Dyche managed Watford and Burnley before experiencing a crack in his work at Everton.
However, he admits that his dream has always been Manchester United take over.
“Due to the size of the club, it’s always Manchester United, not because it’s human, but because of pure grandeur,” he said.
“I know they’re going through tough games right now, but it feels like globally. It’s a super-competitive club.”
Dyche predicts that if things don’t improve, fight for Amorim
Amorim’s job is currently no threat, with a victory over Tottenham Hotspur in Bilbao next Wednesday will push the club into the Champions League – winning the money man at Old Trafford and allowing the club to target in terms of signing this summer.
However, the alliance format will have to be improved. If not, Dyche predicts that the Portuguese location will soon be under scrutiny.
“I would be surprised if Ruben Amorim didn’t take the pressure [early next season],” he said. ‘Let him bring him the benefits of doubt this season – he put down his platform for success, future and education.
“Then you get the preseason because now you have that window to do the actual work day after day. Transfer some players that you might not buy, transfer the players who are. Then, if not earlier next season, how long are you going?
“The easiest answer is preseason, until midway, but that’s not always designed like this?
“If it weren’t early in next season, then I would say, that wasn’t working.
“At least, if you get preseason and juggle the transfer case, the perfect situation is that before Christmas, if you don’t have some form of success – most people are gone, ‘thing needs to start working quickly’. You might get the next window and then before January/February, they go, ‘it doesn’t work’.” ”
