Hartford, Wisconsin – Change the swing will never be comfortable. Moving the body in new ways is strange, and before American women open up, breaking swing habits was a serious chore, not to mention within the practice range of practice.

However, even within the scope of practice of the U.S. Women’s Open, changes may be necessary. Our fluctuations are always developing, and bad habits will surely appear. This is why it is crucial to continue monitoring the swing and perform swing maintenance.

That authenticity is being fully demonstrated at the U.S. Women’s Open this week. The players behind the players lined up in the Erin Hills game in an attempt to adjust the swing to the title form. One player trying to twitch the swing is Maja Stark – she is using simple ways that all golfers can learn.

Use alignment sticks as external prompts

Stark leads early in the U.S. Women’s Open, but that doesn’t mean she’s been called completely throughout the week. Actually, just yesterday, she might find her last-minute adjustments in the form of a champion.

To start the process, she put an aligned stick on the ground a few feet before the golf ball. Then, contrary to studying a new “feeling” or technical transition, she uses an alignment stick as the desired starting line for her swing.

“You’ll see the highest-level players looking for swings,” said Joe Hallet, her coach, golf 100 teacher. “Sometimes, don’t look at something mechanical, but focus on something outside, like your starting line.”

By focusing on the starting line rather than the mechanic, instinct takes over you and you can swing freely. And, without your mind, it becomes easier to keep a solid swing consistently. As an additional bonus, you will have a consistent goal throughout the exercise, improving goals and consistency.

“You’ll be surprised when you do that, even your bad shots will be a little better,” Hallet said.
