Ben Griffin trusts Mizuno Irons and Maxfli’s new Tour X Golf Ball
Getty Images
It’s one thing to call yourself a PGA Tour champion, but when you’re a multiple winner, it’s a completely different ball game. Ben Griffin defeated Matti Schmid on nails to win the 2025 Charles Schwab challenge at the newly designed Colonial Country Club Navigation in Fort Worth, Texas.
Just a few weeks ago, Griffin and Andrew Novak won the Zurich Classic (a team event) in New Orleans, and now Griffin can add his name to the coveted wall of championships.
Griffin is one of the more interesting bags of gearheads, as he is a Mizuno staffer and the only Maxfli golf user on the PGA Tour. He relies on the new UST LINQ prototype shaft to rely on the PING G430 10K drive.
No one saw the statement of the golf brand coming back
