India They will be looking to return to their winning ways when they take on Australia in the third Test of the ongoing five-match series. The match is scheduled to take place at the Gabba on Saturday (December 14).

The visitors started the series on a high note by winning the first Test match in Perth by 295 runs. However, they failed to maintain the same form in the second Test as Australia beat them by 10 wickets to equalize the series.

As both the teams now look to win the upcoming Test to take a lead in the series, we will take a look at Team India's 11-wicket haul in the third Test.

India 11 vs Australia – 3rd Test, India 2024-25 Tour of Australia:

Opener- KL Rahul, Yashasvi Jaiswal

While KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal didn't put in their best performances with the bat in the second Test, the visitors are unlikely to change India's opening XI.

There was talk of relegating Rahul and allowing Rohit Sharma to open again, but that looks unlikely, especially after the visiting captain's poor performance in the second Test.

Although Jaiswal was out for a duck in the first innings, Rahul scored 37 runs. In the second game, Jaiswal scored 24 points and Rahul scored 7 points.

Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Nitish Reddy

Shubman Gill missed the first Test due to injury and failed to feature immediately after returning to the Test side. The youngster got a start in both innings but failed to capitalize on his opportunities. He scored 31 points and 28 points respectively in the game.

Virat Kohli failed to make the most of his century in the first Test. The former captain failed to feature in both innings and scored 7 and 11 runs.

Captain Rohit Sharma also failed to lead the team from the front. The spotlight was firmly on him, but he lived up to expectations. Rohit scored 3 points in the first game and 6 points in the second game.

Rishabh Pant also failed to impress with the bat. Pant, arguably the best Test wicketkeeper-batsman in the world, was dismissed for 21 in the first innings and 28 in the second.

Nitish Reddy was one of the few positive players in a disappointing game for the visitors.

The young all-rounder once again impressed with his performance under pressure. He scored 42 points in the first game and 42 points again in the second game. His cameo helped India avoid an innings defeat. He also picked up a wicket.

Pitchers: Washington Sundar, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj, Harshit Rana

The visiting team is likely to make one change in India's bowling line-up for the Top 11 match. test. Sundar played in the first Test but was dropped in the second.

Ashwin bowled 18 balls and took 1 wicket in the Adelaide Test. With the situation in Brisbane unlikely to help the spinners, the visitors can recall Sundar, who is also known to be a better lower-order batsman.

The pace line-up will remain unchanged, with Jasprit Bumrah leading the attack in the company of Harshit Rana and Mohammed Siraj.

Meanwhile, there are reports that Bumrah may miss the Test due to injury. If that happens, he is likely to be replaced by Akash Deep for India's 11-match run in the third IND vs AUS Test.
