Amir pointed out how Dubai Capitals had the game taken away from them last time and highlighted that the ILT20's batting line-up is very deep and cited why he called the league the toughest league in the world. He elaborated:

Mohammad Amir believes the Desert Vipers will have a great season this time around and says they have a good all-round package. Talking about the same, he added:

“This year, I feel we have ticked every box. If you look at our combination, we have it all. Our top four batsmen are solid and then have a good all-round combination,” he commented. “We also have one of the best spinners in (Wanindu) Hasaranga and Nathan Sowter. In terms of fast bowling, we have two combinations – right-arm and left-arm. So this time , our performance will definitely be better.
