Jackson

Nicolas Jackson scored his first Premier League goal in 2025, giving Chelsea a half-time lead in Everton.

Senegal International ended a 13-game goal drought, dating back to December 2024, after finding neat Nets at 20 yards to give Enzo Maresca’s side an edge over the Stamford Bridge.

After 25 minutes of the opening ceremony, Beto was approached by Enzo Fernandez. The Argentinian immediately released Jackson, who confidently shot into the bottom corner to score his tenth goal of the season.

Chelsea aims to be the top five to secure a Champions League qualifier next semester.

The Blues are currently two points behind fifth Newcastle, but in the case of victory, they may at least skip the Hippies for the time being.

Maresca has been under fire for performance and results recently, but the Italian has led Chelsea to the semifinals of the Europa Conference League and is a firm favorite to cancel the trophy.

Chelsea’s league fate also seems to be in their own hands, with their season ending consisting mainly of fixtures on the table.

They met with Liverpool between conference league matches against Dejelgaden and then faced Newcastle, Manchester United and Nottingham Forest.
