Everton’s six-guard star proves he must be laid off this summer

David Moyes turned Goodison Park into a fortress, and Everton’s hard struggle against Arsenal marked the sixth Premier League match, which avoided defeat at home.

But not all Ndiaye’s teammates can say that their levels matched his on Saturday afternoon, especially Abdoulaye Doucoure started to look like a man playing in borrowed time.

Everton is changing the scenery this summer, and Doucoure needs to be part of the book of Exodus. Moyes has even been surprised by the incredible turnaround in Merseyside since replacing Sean Dyche in January, but this summer, numerous first-team players have left their contracts and there is a lot to do in the transfer market.

Ndiaye and Dwight McNeil’s expected returns, they came to Jack Harrison this afternoon at the closing ceremony, suggesting that Doucoure, 32, appears to be declining and signing the final months of his contract, will leave.

Combined with Charly Alcaraz’s winter loan signing, he’ll sign a permanent deal if he’s in three of the last seven games of Everton this season, it’s clear that Moyes must make sure the veterans aren’t playing in Bramley Moore.

He put his usual annoyances and bragging and forced David Raya into the second half when he was against Arsenal, but that wasn’t enough to suggest he had enough left in the tank to play a major role in the upcoming campaign.

It was a tied and exciting performance, with Ducall completing only six games, losing nine of his 12 games and not even trying to dribble.

Given that the Mali midfielder is currently Everton’s highest-paid player with £130,000 per week, it seems easy and should relax this summer.
