After the first phase of a penny, the Jets hit the second phase in just a few minutes. After the puck was released in the neutral zone, Morgan Barron collected loose pucks and opened the net, beating Blues’ Netminder Joel Hofer to make it 1-0.

The Blues tied it up less than five minutes later by Pavel Buchnevich’s goal. His 18th season of the season scored a 1-1 run from Robert Thomas’ cunning center pass.

Within seven minutes of the third phase, the Jets returned to the lead after the pressure on offense was extended. The Jets’ Connor, Iafallo and Mark Scheifele took over in the third stage and have done a good job in the last few games to accommodate Gabriel Vilardi’s injury.
